Palsaik Korean BBQ Restaurant, Solaris Mont Kiara

Palsaik Korean BBQ Restaurant their first branch in Solaris Mont Kiara last year if I'm not mistaken. It's located at the first floor of the block J, which is right above MOC. "Palsaik" means 8 colours in Korean. And yes, they have 8 kind of different flavours of pork belly in 8 different colours as well. Their main menu is very simple as they only have 3 different sets to choose from. They do have side menu and beverage to add one but the choices are limited.

The 3 main sets are :
1. 3 colours set with pork belly for 2 pax, seafood soup, kimchi or deodeok. (RM92)
2. 8 colours set with pork belly for 3-4 pax and seafood soup. (RM122)
3. Premium set with 8 colours of pork belly for 3-4pax, seafood soup, premium kimchi and deodeok. (RM148)
All prices are exlcusive of 6% GST.
We went in a group of 4 and we had the set 2. There are salads, sauce and different kind of vegetables that come together with the set. They do provide free water for everyone and it's refillable.

That one row of vegetables placed in a wooden plate beside the table comes together with the set.

The seafood soup, as you can see it's clear soup now.
We have basic kimchi and sprouts in this set as well.

The 8 flavours of pork belly. Pardon the photography skills.
They were placed on the side of our table too.
The wooden tray was printed with flavours of the respective marinated pork belly.
The 8 flavours are ginseng, wine, pine, garlic, herb, curry, soy bean and hot pepper.
We don't have to grill the pork belly ourselves, the waiters will help us in cooking them.
They cooked the pork belly according to the placing of the pork in the plate.
So the sequence went exactly like how I stated them above.

The seafood soup.
Remember that I mentioned above that it was a clear soup, after being cooked for a while, the waiter stirred the soup and we noticed there were some special sauce underneath the soup and it turned out to be like this. It wasn't spicy for 4 of us.

The services were really fast and overall it was quite okayy but I think the flavouring of the porks could have been stronger as we can't really differentiate which is which without referring to the tray. And I guess because it's weekend so there were more crowd during that time, chances of having to queue during weekend is quite high. The prices are reasonable as compared to some other korean restaurants. They do have a few branches now, check out their website for more info.
